WHAT'S NEW:

Napa Valley Film Festival

NOVEMBER 2011: I got to co-write and direct some over-the-top scenes (soapy melodrama a la Douglas Sirk), for a live event at opening night of the Napa Valley Film Festival. Crazy, noisy, but fun. A terrific cast, and a crew of hot-shot pros. And we all drank good wine while doing it.

SEPTEMBER 2011: My screenplay Occupant made the quarterfinals in the Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. Guess all the rewriting paid off...

SEPTEMBER 2011: It was an honor to script this short video for the Sonoma County YWCA, Picture a Better Future. Beautifully realized by Santa Rosa-based VideoBrite Productions.

FEBRUARY 2011: Had a blast running an actor/director workshop. 8 actors, 4 scenes, 4 directors - one of whom was me. See some of the work we did here.

AUGUST 2010: Completed a 3-week screenwriting intensive at TheFilmSchool where I studied with people like writer Stewart Stern (Rebel Without a Cause). Incredible.

MAY 2010: Finally! The dog movie comes to YouTube! Watch it now!

OCTOBER 2009: Our screenplay The Sensitivity Program WINS Best Sci-Fi Screenplay at the 2009 Austin Film Festival screenplay competition!!

screenplays

OCCUPANT
A feature-length screenplay. Well reviewed at triggerstreet.com, except for the guy who said "this went way beyond my taste."

THE SENSITIVITY PROGRAM
Another feature script. Reviving the women-in-prison genre with a smart original twist. Winner, best sci-fi screenplay, Austin Film Festival.
