This month we're beating the bushes for actors. And the bushes are giving them up: over 3,000 applicants (!) have responded to the project breakdown for

ORIGINAL COPY, our new film now in pre-production. (Needed: a visionary tech CEO… his eccentric mentor… and his woman Friday. These are interesting, well-written roles. If you have actors in your life, please share this with them.) 

Our casting director extraordinaire Adam Davenport is fielding the replies from the many hopefuls. Meanwhile I’ve been busy filling out a lot of SAG-AFTRA paperwork to make everything official.

ORIGINAL COPY is a new science fiction film all about the rollout of a consumer device that can reproduce anything, in any quantity, at no cost. Told in mock-documentary style, ORIGINAL COPY profiles the creator of the "fabricator" and depicts a society reeling after his invention resets the value of absolutely everything to zero. We’re assembling a terrific crew behind the camera to bring this very ambitious project to life. A crowdfunding campaign is coming on Seed & Spark, followed by shoot dates planned for the first half of 2026.
